North Charleston Police say the victim in this morning’s shooting is being uncooperative with authorities.
Shortly after 9 a.m., officers responded to 2885 Alabama Drive in reference to shots fired. On scene, officers located the victim, identified as Rodriquez Washington, who told police that he was sitting in his vehicle outside of the residence when a white car pulled up and someone fire several shots from the vehicle.
Multiple bullets hit the door panel his car and one bullet struck the victim in his leg.
“Washington was not cooperative with police and could not give police any further description of the incident or possible suspects,” said police spokesman Spencer Pryor.
Washington was taken to Medical University Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, Pryor said.
