GREENVILLE — A 2-year-old South Carolina girl has died after a car crash that sent six people to the hospital.
Multiple media outlets reported Wednesday that Destiny Smith of Greenville was pronounced dead at a hospital the day before.
Authorities say the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning when two cars collided at a busy intersection in Greenville. A third car was struck.
Destiny and an infant were ejected from the car during the crash. None of the other injuries were believed to be life threatening.
Authorities are investigating if the children were properly restrained. No one has been charged.
