North Charleston police have charged one of the three teenage victims of a banquet hall shooting last month.

Detectives charged Jarell Bailey, 17, of Sugarberry Lane in Johns Island with possession of a stolen handgun, according to Spencer Pryor, department spokesman.

Police responded to the G & G Banquet Hall at 4540 Rivers Avenue about 12:30 a.m. on April 24.

Bailey and two other teenagers sustained non-life threatening injuries during the shooting inside and outside of the club.

Bailey, who was shot in the ankle, told police that he fired one round in the parking lot, Pryor said.

The shooting remains under investigation.
