The South Carolina Stingrays have signed defenseman Andrew Krelove.

Krelove, who plays for the Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League, joined the team for Wednesday night’s 5-2 victory over Gwinnett in Duluth, Ga.

Krelove had played in three games for the Stingrays earlier in the season, recording one assist. In 43 games for the Cottonmouths, Krelove has seven goals and 12 assists for 19 points.

Meanwhile, Maxime Lacroix was called up to the Hershey Bears, of the American Hockey League.

Lacroix played in Hershey’s 2-1 loss to Norfolk Wednesday night.

Lacroix has split his time this season between the Bears and Stingrays. In 20 games with Hershey, Lacroix has two assists. In 28 games with the Stingrays, Lacroix has 10 goals and 18 assists for 28 points.
