One of the most famous stars in the storied history of Lucha Libre, Mil Mascaras was honored in May 2011 by the Mexican Postal Service with a series of stamps bearing his likeness. The set belongs to a collection called “Icons of Lucha Libre” that includes the original El Santo and El Hijo del Santo.

“The Man of a Thousand Masks” was one of the industry’s top stars of the ‘60s and ‘70s and one of the most celebrated masked performers of all time.
