COLUMBIA — South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp will open two spring football practices to the public, in addition to the Gamecocks’ annual spring game.
USC announced Tuesday that practices on March 29 and March 31 will be open to the public. Both sessions are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Gamecocks’ practice facility across Bluff Road from Williams-Brice Stadium, and both will feature players in full pads.
Muschamp’s first spring practice at USC opens March 15, in a 4:30 p.m. session with players wearing helmets but not full pads. The Gamecocks are scheduled to be in full pads for 11 of the 15 sessions, including the spring game at noon on April 9. USC will scrimmage twice, on March 26 and April 2, with both sessions closed to the public.
Photography during the two open practices will be permitted only during the first three periods, and players will not be available for autographs. USC’s pro day will be held March 30 at the Gamecocks’ new indoor facility, and will be closed to the public.
