GREENVILLE -- Nik Turley tossed seven innings of one-run ball, and Gary Sanchez and Ramon Flores each smacked three-run homers to lead the Charleston RiverDogs over the Greenville Drive, 10-6, in a South Atlantic League game Sunday at Fluor Field.

Charleston (17-20) extended its season-best winning streak to five games.

Turley (2-3) gave up one run on five hits and three walks, while fanning seven.

For the second straight night, Charleston scored multiple insurance runs in the top of the ninth to give the bullpen more breathing room. Flores unloaded for a three-run blast -- his second homer in as many nights. Kelvin De Leon stepped up to the plate next and crushed his team-leading seventh homer of the year beyond the Green Monster in left for a commanding 10-3 advantage.

The insurance runs proved to be critical, as Greenville (17-20) refused to go quietly in the bottom of the ninth, piecing together four consecutive two-out hits to score three more runs off reliever Tommy Kahnle.

The teams meet in the series finale today at 7:05 p.m.
