Wheeling, W.VA. -- The South Carolina Stingrays (16-16-2) scored three third- period goals to claim a 3-1 ECHL victory over Wheeling (17-12-2) on Saturday night and snap their five-game losing streak.

The Nailers' Mikael Bedard made it 1-0 just 30 seconds into the second period, beating Stingrays goalie Philipp Grubauer (28 saves on 29 shots).

Chris Doyle tied it early in the third period, beating Nailers goalie Peter Delmas (23 saves on 26 shots) from between the faceoff circles at 2:33 off a Danick Paquette assist.

Forward Pierre-Luc O'Brien buried the game-winning goal at 5:31, tapping in a pass from Trent Campbell. Maxime Lacroix added the second assist. Campbell sealed the victory with a score at 12:48 from defenseman Brett Flemming and O'Brien.

The Stingrays finished the night 0 for 3 on the power play; the Nailers went 0 for 4.

The Stingrays continue on the road in Ohio today for a 4 p.m. game against the Toledo Walleye.
