Stingrays announce changes to schedule

The South Carolina Stingrays announced changes to the team’s 2012-13 regular season schedule.

The Stingrays’ Dec. 4 game against the Gwinnett Gladiators will be moved to Nov. 18 at 3:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.

All Sunday home games will now be played at 3:05 p.m.

OMAHA, Neb. —College of Charleston rising junior Daniel Aldrich could not defend his title in the TD Ameritrade Home Run Derby, failing to hit a home run in the first round.

Fresno State’s Aaron Judge went on to win with eight home runs in the final round.

The event will be aired on CBS at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Will Ford, a four-year starter for the S.C. State Bulldogs, was added to the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ roster. Ford rushed for 4,688 yards and 35 touchdowns.

Danyel Bellush resigned as head volleyball coach at Charleston Southern following 15 seasons.

Bellush led the Bucs to 154 wins during her tenure.
