South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney and Citadel head coach Kevin Higgins are among the scheduled speakers for the third annual South Carolina Coaches for Charity event on July 31 at the Embassy Suites in Columbia.

Other guests include Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson, S.C. State coach Buddy Pough, Coastal Carolina coach Joe Moglia, Wofford coach Mike Ayers and Furman coach Bruce Fowler. Each coach will speak during a program that also includes a cocktail reception, dinner, football highlight videos and live and silent auctions.

Richardson will receive a Community MVP Award.

“This is a fun and meaningful night for us every year. The state of South Carolina is blessed to have such wonderful football coaches,” said S.C. Coaches for Charity chairman Fisher DeBerry, former Air Force head coach and a South Carolina native. “And to have Jerry Richardson join us is truly an honor. He has brought so much to the Carolinas, and not just in terms of football. He is certainly a deserving recipient of the award.”
