Seabrook Island -- John Michael Schaffer of Sumter and Taylor Ann Dodson of Aiken held on to their first-day leads Sunday and won the boys 15-18 and girls 14-18 titles, respectively, in the Tommy Cuthbert All-Stars Championship junior golf tournament.

Schaffer won with an overall total of 150, 6 over par for two rounds at Seabrook's Ocean Winds Course. Andrew Novak of Mount Pleasant was second at 153. Dodson shot a 3-under 75 for a 156, eight better than Katharine Stewart of Aiken.

In boys 13-14, Sumter's Charlie Dallery had a 154 winning total. In boys 10-12, Jake Carter of Aiken shot a 2-under 34 over nine holes for a 69 total. In boys 8-9, Sumter's Dixon Flowers won with a 70. In girls 11-13, Kate Harper of Isle of Palms had a 94 total to win by 10 strokes in the nine-hole format. Emily Benton of Bamberg won in 8-10 at 110. with a 110.

In the nine-team team competition, the Mid-State Chapter Boys were victorious as their representatives shot a whopping 27 shots better than the next closest Chapter with a total of 454 strokes from the top performers in each of the four age groups. For the girls, the young ladies from the Hilton Head Chapter edged out the Mount Pleasant Girls by 23 shots. Competing in the Tommy Cuthbert South

All Stars were the chapters of: Aiken, Beaufort, Hilton Head, Horry County, Mid-State, Mt. Pleasant, Orangeburg, Pee Dee and South Strand.
