Former Citadel basketball coach and athletic director Les Robinson leads a class of five who will be inducted into The Citadel’s Athletic Hall of Fame on Sept. 28.

Robinson led the Bulldogs to their first 20-win season in 1979, and served as AD from 2000-08, spearheading the drive to renovate Johnson Hagood Stadium. He also served as coach and AD at East Tennessee State and North Carolina State.

Others to be inducted are track and field standout Mike Cason (Class of 1990), a seven-time all-Southern Conference pick; former running back Travis Jervey (1995), who ran for 1,171 yards in 1994 and played nine years in the NFL; and former pitchers Jim Scott (1969) and Brian Wiley (1998), both all-SoCon baseball players.
