Former Citadel receiver Andre Roberts had a good day at the NFL Scouting Combine on Sunday, posting the fifth-fastest time in the 40-yard dash among wide receivers.
Roberts ran the 40 in 4.46 seconds, tied with Marcus Easley of Connecticut. Clemson's Jacoby Ford ran the fastest 40 among receivers with a time of 4.23 seconds.
In the broad jump, Roberts leaped 10 feet, ranking among the top 10 receivers. And in the 3-cone drill, his time of 6.77 seconds was good for seventh among receivers.
Other top performers included Clemson's C.J. Spiller, second among running backs in the 40 at 4.37 seconds.
The Combine continues today in Indianapolis, with defensive linemen and linebackers working out.
