GREENVILLE — Friday night’s game at Fluor Field between the Charleston RiverDogs and the Greenville Drive was suspended in the bottom of the second inning with the Drive leading 2-0.
The game will be resumed at 7 p.m. Saturday. For the remainder of the series, the two teams will play Sunday at the regularly scheduled time at 4:05 p.m., and Monday the teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 4:30 p.m..
The Drive scored a pair of runs against David Palladino in the bottom of the first on an RBI single by Danny Bethea and an RBI groundout by Javier Guerra.
RHP Matt Wotherspoon (2-0, 4.22) is slated to take the hill when the game resumes on Saturday.
