RiverDogs, Drive suspended due to weather

Friday night’s game at Fluor Field between the Charleston RiverDogs and the Greenville Drive was suspended in the bottom of the second inning with the Drive leading 2-0.

The game will be resumed at 7 p.m. Saturday. For the remainder of the series, the two teams will play Sunday at the regularly scheduled time at 4:05 p.m., and Monday the teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 4:30 p.m..

The Drive scored a pair of runs against David Palladino in the bottom of the first on an RBI single by Danny Bethea and an RBI groundout by Javier Guerra.

RHP Matt Wotherspoon (2-0, 4.22) is slated to take the hill when the game resumes on Saturday.
