ORANGEBURG -- The Pinewood Prep girls’ golf team won its third straight SCISA state championship with a 330-414 victory over Hammond Monday at the Orangeburg Country Club.

The players were challenged by not only the 18 championship holes but also unseasonable cool temperatures and rainy conditions.

Wilson Hall claimed third with 434, Hilton Head Christian was fourth with 443 and Ashley Hall fifth with 454.

Pinewood’s Katelyn Dambaugh was medalist with a 71.
