Pick Six: High school predictions

With the high school football season winding down, it's almost time to size WCBD-TV's Brendan Clark for another crown for his prognosticating ability.

Clark went 4-2 in the weekly Pick Six contest last week to maintain a commanding seven-game lead over The Post and Courier's Phil Bowman, who also went 4-2.

Clark is 49-17 overall and Bowman is 42-24.

Fort Dorchester at Summerville

Bowman: Fort Dorchester gets revenge for a regular- season loss to Green Wave. Fort Dorchester, 21-14.

Clark: It's been a while since the Patriots beat the Wave. Picking Summerville, 21-20.

Lancaster at Goose Creek

Bowman: Goose Creek is on a roll and will rock the visitors. Goose Creek, 42-17.

Clark: Last week was a wake-up call ... and they still won by more than 2 TDs. Gators, 49-7.

Barnwell at Bishop England

Bowman: Bishop seniors want to got out on top. Bishop England, 21-7.

Clark: Bishops are well rested, but Barnwell is no cupcake. BE, 28-24.

Burke at Hemingway

Bowman: Starting to be a Burke believer. Burke, 22-16.

Clark: Hemingway has outscored its opponents 204-18 in the last six games. Burke loses, 28-14.

Conway at Stratford

Bowman: Stratford bounces back from last week's power outage. Stratford, 21-14.

Clark: Close one. Knights, but barely, 24-21.

Lake City at Hanahan

Bowman: Hawks are the most improved team in the state. Hanahan, 28-21.

Clark: Welcome back, Chris Brown. You were missed. Hawks, 35-21.
