COLUMBIA — South Carolina will kick off at noon when it travels to No. 25 Missouri on Oct. 3.
The game time was announced Monday by the SEC. The contest will be televised by SEC Network.
The Gamecocks (1-2, 0-2 SEC) host Central Florida at noon Saturday in a game that will be televised by ESPNU. Missouri (3-0) opens SEC play this weekend at Kentucky.
USC leads the series with the Tigers 3-2, with the first two matchups coming in bowl games. The Gamecocks on their last trip to Faurot Field rallied from a 17-point deficit to win 27-24 in double overtime. Last season at Williams-Brice Stadium, Missouri came back from two scores down in the fourth quarter to win 21-20.
Missouri has weathered close games against smaller programs in each of the past two weeks, winning 27-20 at Arkansas State on Sept. 12 and beating Connecticut 9-6 this past Saturday.
