Noon kick for UCF at USC

COLUMBIA — South Carolina’s next home game will be a noon kickoff, the SEC announced Monday.

The Gamecocks’ Sept. 26 matchup against Central Florida at Williams-Brice Stadium will be USC’s first afternoon contest after three consecutive night games to start the season. It will be televised by either ESPNU or ESPN2, with the network being specified following this weekend’s games.

USC (1-1, 0-1 SEC) travels to No. 7 Georgia (2-0, 1-0) for a 6 p.m. kickoff Saturday on ESPN. The Gamecocks have never lost to Central Florida, with the most recent of their four meetings coming in Orlando in 2013. The Knights (0-2) opened this season with losses to Florida International and Stanford, and host Furman on Saturday.

Other SEC games for Sept. 26 include Southern at Georgia, noon on SEC Network; LSU at Syracuse, noon on ABC or ESPN; Tennessee at Florida, 3:30 p.m. on CBS; Louisiana-Monroe at Alabama, 4 p.m. on SEC Network; Vanderbilt at Ole Miss, 7 p.m. on ESPNU; Texas A&M at Arkansas, Mississippi State at Auburn, and Missouri at Kentucky, all of which are 7 or 7:30 p.m. on ESPN, ESPN2 or SEC Network.
