The last time Clemson played at North Carolina State in 2011, the Tigers suffered a 37-13 shellacking by the unranked Wolfpack.

“We went up there last time and got our tails handed to us,” Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said.

Granted, when the Wolfpack visited Memorial Stadium in 2012, the Tigers took some revenge in a 62-48 shootout victory at Death Valley.

In that 2011 game, quarterback Tajh Boyd, then a sophomore, got picked off twice in the red zone, and also fumbled once inside Clemson's own 20-yard-line, as did running back Mike Bellamy.

“You can say it doesn't affect you or whatever, but you remember things,” Boyd said last week.

So you can bet the Tigers are ready to roll into Raleigh tonight and kick off their ACC schedule.

And we'll be there too: Aaron Brenner, Andrew Miller and Gene Sapakoff will cover all the action. Check out our live blog (see below) or go to live.postandcourier.com for our complete coverage.
