Inga Ivey's 2-over 75 on Tuesday gave her a three-shot lead midway through the Women's South Carolina Golf Association Senior Championship being played at the Country Club of Charleston.

Ivey, the club champion at the Dunes Club in Myrtle Beach, had two birdies and four bogeys at the course, which is playing to a par 37-36--73.

Lea Anne Brown of Mount Pleasant, a 13-time Charleston Women's City Amateur champion and two-time WSCGA stroke-play winner, is tied for second at 78 along with Elaine Johnson of Hartsville and Lisa Maloney of Hilton Head. Defending champion Stephanie Van Inwagen opened with an 80 and is tied for sixth.

In the Super Senior division for players 65 and older, Patricia Bryson of Bluffton and Karin Wolfe of Lexington are tied for first at 76. Jessie Finucan of Summerville is third at 79.

The tournament wraps up today, with a 9 a.m. shotgun start planned.
