Goose Creek's high-powered offense ran into a road block Saturday as the Gators lost to Pickerington Central High School, 14-7, Saturday.

The Gators traveled to Centerville, Ohio, to play in a high school football doubleheader called the Backyard Blitz.

The teams were tied at halftime, 7-7, when Pickerington Central scored the go-ahead touchdown on a pass play.

Goose Creek threatened twice in the second half, but each time was stopped near the goal line.

The Gators play at Ridge View next Friday.
