Singer/songwriter Patrick Davis, famed for his rousing South Carolina anthem "Just a Big Ole Cock," has added to his Gamecock songbook.

Davis, a native of Camden who appears frequently on Lowcountry stages, has released a video of his ode to USC's Final Four team called "God Bless Sin."

The title, of course, references USC standout Sindarius Thornwell, the SEC player of the year who has led the Gamecocks on their surprising run to the Final Four.

On the video, Davis — who has written songs for Darius Rucker, Jimmy Buffett and others, says that he wasn't planning to write a Final Four song until the title popped into his head while he was out jogging.

The song also mentions coach Frank Martin and players P.J. Dozier, Chris Silva and Duane Notice.
