COLUMBIA — It will be another afternoon kickoff when LSU makes a rare visit to Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Gamecocks will host the ninth-ranked Tigers at noon on Oct. 10, the SEC announced Monday. The game will be televised by ESPN. It will be the third consecutive noon kickoff for South Carolina, following identical start times last weekend against Central Florida and Saturday at Missouri.

USC (2-2, 0-2 SEC) defeated Central Florida 31-14 this past Saturday, while LSU (3-0, 2-0) won at Syracuse 34-24. The Tigers host Eastern Michigan on Saturday.

LSU will be making its fourth trip to Williams-Brice Stadium since the Gamecocks began SEC play in 1992. The Tigers won the teams’ last meeting 23-21 in 2012 in Baton Rogue, while the Gamecocks are winless against LSU in six straight games dating back to their last victory in 1994.

Other SEC games for Oct. 10 are New Mexico State at Ole Miss, noon on SEC Network; Georgia at Tennessee, 3:30 p.m. on CBS; Troy at Mississippi State, 4 p.m. on SEC Network; Arkansas at Alabama, 7 p.m. on ESPN; and Florida at Missouri, 7:30 p.m. on SEC Network.
