MOUNT PLEASANT -Tenth-ranked South Carolina erupted for six runs in the middle stages of the game to roll past the College of Charleston, 7-0, Wednesday in college baseball.

The Cougars fell to 21-9 while the Gamecocks improved to 21-8.
