NOTABLE: Timberland has dominated the overall series, 11-3, but Hanahan won last year's meeting, 41-0 ... Hawks fell behind by 21 points to James Island last week but took a 27-26 lead before losing on a fourth quarter field goal, 29-27.

KEEP AN EYE ON: Hanahan junior nose guard Dominique Green, who is considered one of the top underclassmen prospects in the state.

DID YOU KNOW: Timberland has won more games (111) in the last 10 seasons than any other program in the Lowcountry.

NOTABLE: This will be the third meeting between the two schools with Ashley Ridge winning the first two ... Both teams posted impressive opening wins as Ashley Ridge beat Woodland, 21-6, and James Island rallied to beat Hanahan, 29-27.

KEEP AN EYE ON: The quarterbacks of both teams. James Island sophomore Gage Moloney and Ashley Ridge junior Steven Duncan are two of the top quarterbacks in the area.

DID YOU KNOW: James Island head coach Ike Allred was an all-state receiver out of T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson and spent nine years as an assistant coach at Newberry College.
