Because of bad weather, the ninth annual Earl Armantrout Trout Tournament has been rescheduled and will be fished Saturday. The tournament benefits American Legion Post 136. The captain’s meeting is from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Art’s Bar and Grill, located at 413 Coleman Blvd., Mount Pleasant. The entry fee is $30 for adult anglers and $20 for youth. Sid Fowler Jr. caught five bass that weighed 12.75 pounds, including the tournament’s big fish of 4.04 pounds, to win the Creekside Bassmasters’ October tournament fished out of Black’s Camp on the Santee Cooper lakes. Brian Crenshaw was second with four fish that weighed 11.63 pounds and Brian Miller third with three bass that weighed 5.88 pounds.
