Four Charleston Southern football players were selected to play in the FCS Senior Scout Bowl on Saturday in Middletown, N.Y.

Wide receiver/kick returner Gerald Stevenson, tight end Josh Atkinson, defensive lineman Joel Walton and kicker John Paglia will take part in the all-star game, which will kick off from Faller Field at 2 p.m. and will be televised by Fox College Sports Television.

All of the participants will take part in combine drills as well as multiple practices and workouts for the scouts in attendance before taking the field on Saturday.


College of Charleston men's soccer standouts Sean Flatley and Sean de Silva were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Performance Subaru All-South Region Second Team.

Flatley, a senior defender, started in all 19 matches the Cougars played, scoring four goals and adding an assist.

De Silva, a sophomore midfielder, started all 19 matches as well, posting team highs in goals (7) and assists (9).
