Senior Antwaine Wiggins led the College of Charleston to a 68-52 victory over Samford Monday at Pete Hanna Center in Birmingham, Ala., ending a four-game losing streak for the Cougars

Charleston improved to 13-9, 5-6 in the Southern Conference while Samford fell to 7-14, 4-6. It was the Cougars' 12th straight win over the Bulldogs. It also evened interim coach Mark Byington's record t 1-1. Byington replaced Bobby Cremins Friday after Cremins announced he was taking a medical leave of absence.
