Two College of Charleston players were included on the Colonial Athletic Association’s all-conference softball teams.
The teams were selected by the eight CAA coaches and they are not allowed to vote for their own players in the balloting.
Freshman Taylor DuPree was named to the CAA First Team and All-Rookie Team as a utility player after showing her versatility playing three different positions for the College throughout 2015. She consistently ranked top ten in the CAA in batting average, on-base percentage, runs scored and led the league in stolen bases.
Right fielder Carly Hansis was named to the CAA All-Academic team. The cleanup hitter started every game for the College in 2015 and ranks tied for second on the team with five home runs and 10 doubles. She ranks third on the team in batting average (.305), hits (47), RBI (27) and slugging (.494).
