The Tigers hope to have a final and more challenging - 2009 football schedule in place today.
Texas Christian University athletics official Mark Cohen said the school "could have an announcement" today regarding an agreement to play at Clemson on Sept. 26.
TCU would complete Clemson's schedule, filling the date vacated by Central Michigan.
Clemson athletic director Terry Don Phillips said last week Idaho was the favorite to complete the schedule, but a contract with the Vandals has not been signed.

The Horned Frogs finished ranked No. 7 in the country last season, after an 11-2 campaign, which they capped by defeating a 12-0 Boise St. team in the Poinsettia Bowl.
