Clemson’s Jeff Scott, wife welcome first child

CLEMSON — Baby came early for Clemson co-coordinator Jeff Scott and his wife, Sara.

Savannah Scott was born Thursday, and according to a tweet from ESPN ACC reporter Andrea Adelson, mom and daughter are happy and healthy.

Savannah is the couple’s first child.

Initially, Sara’s due date was Oct. 3, the day of No. 11 Clemson’s home game vs. No. 6 Notre Dame.

Jeff Scott’s co-coordinator, Tony Elliott, and his wife Tamika are expecting their second child Oct. 14. The Tigers are idle this weekend.
