CLEMSON – Clemson basketball picked up a commitment Tuesday from one of the nation's top point guards prospects, Adonis Filer, according to multiple reports. The commitment is Clemson’s second significant verbal in the last week. Clemson also received a commitment from 6-foot-10 center Landry Nnoko, a Cameroon native, last week.

Filer is ranked as the nation's No. 28 point guard by Scout.com and the No. 24 point guard by Rivals.com.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound three-star prospect is a Chicago native averaged 16 points, seven rebounds and seven assists per game at Notre Dame (Ma.).

Nnoko is also a three-star prospect.

Filer is the fifth commitment in Clemson's 2012 class.
