Hardy played in all 11 games this season, finishing with 716 all-purpose yards. The Ocala, Fla., native earned a bulk of those yards (562) on kickoff returns. Hardy also carried the ball six times for 101 yards.
Former Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress and former San Diego Chargers and Citadel head coach Bobby Ross are the coaches for the game.
Charleston Southern’s Rachelle Coward was named Big South women’s player of the week. A redshirt junior guard, Coward averaged 21 points per game and shot 49 percent from the floor to lead the Bucs to a 3-1 record over the holidays.
