"My assistant coaches, Aaron Gershenfeld, Blake Cooper and Austin Cangelosi, deserve an immense amount of recognition for the countless hours they have put in to evaluate and recruit this class and I want to thank them for their efforts.

"Since we arrived in July, our staff has been very aggressive on the recruiting landscape. One of our immediate goals was to get back on the right trajectory as a program. As a program you want to be trending upward and this summer and fall we felt like we have accomplished that."

Playing his summer baseball with the Evoshield Canes, Cameron is ranked by Perfect Game as the fourth best RHP in the State of South Carolina, and the 10th overall best player in the state.
