Helen Terry put up a career-high 26 points as Charleston Southern ended 2011 with a bang, picking up a Big South win over Presbyterian at the CSU Fieldhouse. The victory helps the Bucs continue on one of the best starts in program history, moving them to 8-4 overall and 1-0 in league play.

Terry went 8 of 13 from the field and sunk four 3-pointers as she bested her previous career high by three points and led all players in scoring. She was one of four Buccaneers in double figures, as Lakeitha Alston overcame a previous injury to put up 13 points and grab six boards. Terry also had seven rebounds and five assists.

The Buccaneers shot an impressive 53.2 percent from the field and sunk 12 shots from beyond the arc for 41.4 percent.

Mariah Pietrowski led the Blue Hose (6-6, 0-1) with 17 points.
