Charleston Southern won its fifth straight Big South game, holding off a late rally to beat Presbyterian, 11-9, to take third place alone in the conference.

Jaren Sustar went 3 for 5 with three RBIs and has gone 10 for his last 14 for the Buccaneers (27-24, 14-9 Big South).

Reliever Charlie McCready (5-2) went 5 2/3 innings for CSU, which looks to break the school record for Big South wins in a season at 2 p.m. today against the Blue Hose (20-31, 5-18).

CSU took a 11-5 lead into the eighth, but Tony Micklon's three-run homer and another run in the ninth made it interesting before Ali Williams quelled the threat for his second save of the season.

Matt Still was 3 for 5 with two RBIs, while Derek Smith was 2 for 4 with two RBIs for the Bucs.
