Charleston Southern was shut out by Coastal Carolina, 2-0, in the final baseball game of the regular season at CSU Ballpark on Saturday.

Patrick Dolan (4-5), one of six CSU seniors honored, was the tough-luck loser after going seven strong innings. Dolan was honored along with Corey Deighan, Brennan Dorsett, Charlie McCready, Blake Hunt and Walt Quattlebaum.

Luke Willis had an RBI double in the fifth inning to put Coastal Carolina (37-17, 18-5 Big South) up 1-0. The Chanticleers added another run in the sixth on an RBI single by Rich Witten.

Javier Reynoso (3-2) and three relievers combined on the seven-hit shutout.

Bobby Ison was 2 for 5 with his 10th stolen base for the Bucs (20-34, 11-13), who next play in the Big South Conference tournament. Alex Tomasovich went 2 for 4 for CSU.
