Country Club of Charleston members Rock Dangerfield, Brennen King, Charles McIntosh and Justin Boulware won the gross division by seven shots in the National Kidney Foundation Golf Classic played at Pebble Beach Resorts in California.

This was the first year the National Kidney Foundation Golf Classic had included a gross division.

The team shot 36-under-par for 54 holes, playing Spanish Bay (13-under), Pebble Beach (11-under) and Spyglass Hill (12-under).

For winning, each player received a Tiffany crystal trophy, two nights of lodging at Spanish Bay and another round of golf at Pebble Beach and Spanish Bay.

The team earned its way to Pebble Beach by winning the local National Kidney Foundation tournament at Bulls Bay in June, an event that raised more than $75,000 to support the National Kidney Foundation’s awareness, prevention and treatment programs. Nationally, National Kidney Foundation tournaments have raised more than $90 million.
