West Ashley’s FLIP! GYM will send 66 athletes to compete to compete at the Varsity National Cheerleading D1 Summit at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., on Saturday. The Summit competition will be broadcast on ESPN and also streaming live on Varsity.com.
“We are thrilled to take these Charleston athletes to Orlando so they can compete against the best teams in the nation,” program director Jenna Watson said. “Less than ten percent of all-star cheer teams in the U.S. earn a bid each season, so this is a huge honor for the kids, coaches, and parents.”
