Where to vote

The election for the state House District 94 seat is today. Heyward Hutson, a retired Army officer and former state representative, is the only candidate on the ballot because his Democratic opponent dropped out of the race. State law requires the election anyway. Low voter turnout could open the door for a write-in candidate to win. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The seat was vacated by Converse Chellis after he was elected state treasurer.

Here are the polling places by precinct:

Briarwood: Summerville Church of Christ, 413 Trolley Road.
