Bulldogs dump Cougars, 7-1

Citadel second baseman Mason Davis collected three hits and Austin Pritcher pitched a complete-game to lead the Bulldogs past the College of Charleston, 7-1, before a crowd of 1,176 at Riley Park.

Pritcher (7-2) allowed just six hits, walked one and struck out four batters for the Bulldogs.

The Citadel (29-21, 16-9 in SoCon) had 13 hits, while the Cougars (26-23, 14-10) managed just six hits.

The two teams will meet again Saturday at 2 p.m. at Riley Park.
