It’s starting to get very interesting as the Pick Six contest heads into Week 11.
The Post and Courier’s Phil Bowman and WCBD-TV’s Brendan Clark both posted 6-0 records last week to remain tied on the season. Both pundits are 51-9 for the year. That translates to an .850 success rate.
Clark is seeking his third straight title, but Bowman is pulling out all the stops. Or he just might be full of hot air.
Brendan says he is just happy to finally have some competition after two years of domination. Here are this week’s picks:
Bowman: Great game to finish the regular season. Goose Creek, 28-14.
Clark: Knights can’t make any mistakes; that still might not be enough. GC, 42-21.
Bowman: Green Wave has a letdown after last week’s milestone. Bluffton, 35-21.
Clark: Green Wave keeps getting better. Wave wins the region. Wave, 28-27.
Bowman: Commodore, Loftland both can top 1,000 yards rushing. FD, 20-17.
Clark: Patriots running and running well. Fort Dorchester wins, 35-21.
Bowman: Warriors make final tuneup before playoffs. Wando 28-10.
Clark: Warriors finish regular season with win. Wando, 27-17
Bowman: This is a pretty good baseball rivalry, too. Hanahan, 35-10.
Clark: Gilbert famous for its Peach festival, but not for this upset. Hawks, 42-14.
Bowman: Midland Valley started season 0-4. Upset: Midland Valley, 20-17.
Clark: It will be close, but Berkeley has home field — that’s difference. Stags, 24-20.
