Boston College 11, No. 16 Clemson 5

CLEMSON -- Boston College used a seven-run second inning to knock off Clemson.

Clemson (19-8, 8-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) led 4-0 after the first inning before the Eagles (12-14, 4-7) retaliated against Tigers starter Will Lamb (3-1).

Boston College pitcher Pat Dean (5-0) went eight innings to pick up the win.

All 10 Boston College batters had at least one hit, including homers by Mickey Wiswall and Matt Watson.

The loss was the first at home in conference play for the Tigers.

John Hinson drove in two runs for the Tigers, who play Boston College at 12:05 p.m. today in the series finale.
