COLUMBIA -- It was indeed a Black Friday for A.C. Flora at Memorial Stadium as the Bluffton offense proved too much to handle.
Quarterback C.J. Frazier passed for 311 yards and four touchdowns as the Bobcats outlasted the Falcons, 44-35, to win the Class AAA Lower State championship.
While Bluffton rolled up 565 yards of total offense, A.C. Flora couldn't find a way to contain the Bobcats.
Bluffton (14-0) will play South Pointe in Clemson next week for the state title. South Pointe beat York, 38-15, on Friday night to win the Upper State title.
Bluffton jumped to a 15-0 lead in the first quarter.
The Bobcats struck first on Frazier's 67-yard touchdown strike to Marquis Webber in the opening seconds of the game.
After Flora fumbled, Bluffton followed with Jerry Scott's 10-yard scoring run and a two-point conversion run from Scott with 4:01 to go.
Late in the second, the Falcons drove to the Bluffton 12, set up by a 28-yard Keith Goss run.
However, Goss fumbled a pitch on the next play.
Bluffton followed by driving the length of the field in over a minute, and Frazier threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to give the Bobcats a 22-15 lead going into intermission.
The two teams traded touchdowns before the Bobcats put the game out of reach with a field goal from Mallie Sprouse and another touchdown from Jerry Scott.
