LAST YEAR: Beaufort won, 39-12

COACHES: Mark Clifford, Beaufort; Ray Stackley, Stratford

NOTABLE: Stratford's defense was porous last year at Beaufort as the Knights allowed touchdowns on three of Beaufort's first four possessions. This year, Stratford has defended the run and pass well, allowing only 11.3 points per game. For the second straight season, Beaufort enters the game coming off a tough loss to Fort Dorchester. The Eagles lost only two regular season games in 2010.

KEEP AN EYE ON: Beaufort running back D'Vonta Cohen. He has 352 yards rushing and averages 18.5 yards per carry.

DID YOU KNOW: Stratford travels to Summerville next week and then hosts Goose Creek.

LAST YEAR: Ashley Ridge won, 22-19

COACHES: Kenny Walker, Ashley Ridge; Bobby Marion, West Ashley

NOTABLE: West Ashley tries to make history tonight. The Wildcats have never been 4-0 since the school opened in time for the 2000-01 academic year. The Wildcats have won two close encounters, topping Bishop England and Wando by two points. Ashley Ridge's offense has been impressive, averaging 34.0 points per game. Running back Romelo Doctor has been solid ever since he stepped on the field as a freshman.

KEEP AN EYE ON: Ashley Ridge wide receiver Seamus McKinney. He is the Swamp Foxes' all-time leading receiver.

DID YOU KNOW: West Ashley was 3-8 last year, but lost three games by a touchdown or less.

LAST YEAR: James Island won, 26-14

COACHES: Randy Hilyer, James Island; Jimmy Noonan, Wando

NOTABLE: The Trojans are 3-0 for the second straight year, but they won only three of their final nine game. The Trojans rely on the legs of quarterback Justin Bolus, who has rushed for 415 yards with an impressive 10.1 yards per carry. Wando has had some tough luck in its last two games, losing to Conway and West Ashley by a combined seven points. Wando's defense is allowing 17.3 points per game.

KEEP AN EYE ON: Wando defensive end Gimel President. He has committed to Auburn.

DID YOU KNOW: Dezmon Venning was scheduled to play RB, but he plays LB primarily. He has 24 tackles, including 9 solo stops.
