The Moncks Corner Medical Center Family Open Catfish Tournament benefiting the Berkeley County Rescue Squad will be fished from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. April 30. The entry fee is $75 per boat early and $90 on the morning of the event at the William Dennis Boat Landing, across the river from Gilligan’s. The Charleston Inshore Anglers’ 24th annual Sheepshead Tournament will be fished from 6 a.m.-5 p.m. April 30. There is a $30 entry fee ($20 active duty military) with a $1,000 top prize based on 140 anglers.
