MOUNT PLEASANT -- Appalachian State's Tyler Zupcic had four RBIs in an 8-5 Southern Conference baseball victory over College of Charleston at Patriots Point, evening the weekend series at a win apiece.

Charleston (33-18, 16-10 SoCon) hosts Appalachian State (29-22, 13-13) at 1 p.m. today. The Cougars will host Senior Day before the game at 12:45 p.m.

The Cougars got an RBI single from Jamie Holler to tie it at 4, but three unearned runs in the sixth were too much for College of Charleston to overcome.

Marty Gantt had a sacrifice fly for the Cougars' final run in the seventh. Rob Harding was 4 for 4 for the Cougars.

David Peterson (5-5) allowed seven runs -- four earned -- on nine hits in 5 2/3 innings. He walked four and struck out four.
