Morgan Todd and Kallie Peurifoy scored two goals each to lead Academic Magnet to a 10-0 win over visiting Marion on Thursday night in the second round of the Class AA-A girls soccer playoffs.

The Raptors (19-3) host Swansea at 6 p.m. today in the Lower State quarterfinals.

Summer Edwards, Becca Bosch, Arden Turkewitz, Emma Coen, Chris Sacha and Jenna Beauregard also scored for the Raptors, who are seeking their second consecutive state title.

Keepers Emily Gossen and Rachel DiGiacamo combined for the shutout.

“We played really well,” said coach Anna Merriman. “Obviously, we’ll have to combat more difficult competition coming up in the playoffs and will have to challenge ourselves a little bit. But we did good job of passing the ball and got some younger players on the field to test their feet.”
