MURRELLS INLET — A 22-year-old man has become the third person killed in motorcycle accidents during a spring Myrtle Beach biker rally.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports that Jacob Miller of Jamestown died of head injuries.

Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins says Miller was riding on the US 17 Bypass in Georgetown County about 1:30 a.m. Sunday when a sport utility vehicle made a left turn in front of him.

Miller died at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday at a hospital.

Collins says the teenage SUV driver didn’t yield the right of way. His name has not been released, and no charges have been filed.

Two other bikers died during the Cruisin’ the Coast Spring Bike Rally, which ended Sunday.
