VP Biden to talk infrastructure in stops in SC and NC

WASHINGTON — Vice President Joe Biden will travel this week to Charleston and Columbia in South Carolina; and Charlotte, North Carolina to participate in events with Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx, who was mayor of Charlotte before he was selected to serve in President Barack Obama’s Cabinet.

The multi-stop tour on Wednesday and Thursday will highlight the importance of investing in America’s infrastructure, according to a news release from the White House. Time, dates and locations for Biden’s visits have not been announced.

Additional details about the trip are forthcoming, the release said.
